Diane Myers

Born in Wisconsin, I moved ate Rapid City, South Dakota in 1994 with my husband and two children. My heart found a true home here in the Black Hills. My passion is drawing as well as painting animals. I believe I am not alone in this quest as I know my hand is guided by " Heaven" which is why I chose.

I began my art career in freelance art in 1972 painting in. oils, pet portraits or ink designs.  I have worked in design and layout for    Double Dutch teams in Wisconsin, created custom flags and    designs for housewares.  My recent passion for the last eight years is original acrylic paintings on turkey feathers of South Dakota wildlife and pet portraits.  Pet portraits can be in oil, pastel, or acrylic.  Many of my creations on feathers are available on feathers inserted into disc shaped ornaments. My work can be seen at listed businesses and upcoming craft shows:
